Tap-to-share, without buying anyone’s hardware
Competitors sell NFC cards and keyrings. You don’t need them: any blank NFC sticker holds your Reko link, and every modern phone opens it on a tap. No app on their side, nothing to charge, nothing to subscribe to.
Search for “NTAG213 sticker”. They cost €1–2 apiece, less in packs. Any NDEF-capable tag works: stickers, cards, keyfobs.
Use the writer below on an Android phone (Chrome), or any free tag-writer app on iPhone. One write is enough. The tag needs no battery and never expires.
iPhone (XS and newer) and Android read it in the background: tap, a banner appears, your card opens. Stick it on your phone case, laptop, or the back of your paper cards.
ON IPHONE: WRITING FROM THE BROWSER ISN’T POSSIBLE · USE ANY FREE TAG-WRITER APP ONCE. READING NEEDS NO APP AT ALL.
- Tags are dumb and yours. They store a link, nothing else. No battery, no tracking, no account. If you leave Reko, rewrite the tag to point anywhere.
- Works on phones from ~2018 on. iPhone XS and newer read tags in the background; nearly all Android phones with NFC do too. Older phones can still scan your QR.
- The tap itself needs no internet. Opening your card does. The tag hands the phone a link, like a scanned QR.
- Rewrite or lock, your call. Tags can be rewritten endlessly, or write-protected in any tag app if you don’t want a prankster changing yours.
